Cool Wave was born out of a passion to impact the world and the health of those in it. As recent as 2011, the FDA had no standard of identity for the category alkaline water. Standards of identity describe in detail what a food product must contain, how it must be proportioned and sometimes how it must be manufactured. Our founders worked closely with the FDA to develop the standard for alkaline water.
